Who (Or What) is Alf?
Alf is Possible the Most Unfortunate 'Human Being' on the Planet. He and his brother, Elf, have starred in 57 comics in total, and have managed to die in each one of them. Alf First Starred in the First Alf Book (obviously!), where he managed to kill himself by running headlong into a wall. Elf first Appeared in a totally Unofficial 'Elf' Book (Written by Stephen Mann) Called 'Elf and the Unauthorized book'. We Adopted this Idea, and so made Elf a Star in the latest Alf Book- 'Alf 30-Alf and Elf'. Where he manages to kill Alf.
Elf then Got his big Break, getting his name included in the Title of the Next Alf Series- 'Alf and Elf's 26 New and Original Ways to die', even though Elf has only starred in a couple of them. |
Where did you get the Inspiration for Alf?
The Idea for Alf actually came from a previous long-running series called 'The Massacres'. In these, Alf's Astranged brother, UDI (Usual Doomed Individual) would be slaughtered in new and horrific ways. There will eventually be sites for the Predecesors of Alf and Elf's 26 New and Original Ways to die, but you'll just have to wait until that time.
